In loving memory. Doris Ann Johnston, born November 19, 1966 in Dallas. Went to be with the Lord, May 9, 1995 at the age of 28, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her parents, Grady and Lucille Johnston of Dallas; a brother, Grady C. (Randy) Johnston, Jr. of Combine, TX; her niece, Barbara R. Johnston, of Combine; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T.R. Grizzle of Plano; as well as a great host of uncles and aunts, cousins and friends.
Doris Ann is a graduate of Seagoville High School and attended Eastfield College and North Texas University. She was employed by the Eckerd Drug Company as a pharmacy technician for over ten years.
Doris Ann loved life, her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her smile and very positive outlook on life. She was constantly helping others and always placed others needs above her own.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday in the Grove Hill Funeral home Chapel with Rev. Carl McDaniel and Rev. Richard Deteau, officiating. Burial will be in the Grove Hill Memorial Park.
