Survived by wife, Bernice Barnard of Tucson; mother, Olive O. Rippy of Watsonville, CA; daughter, Phyllis Miles of Tucson; son, Phillip L. Barnard of Gilroy, CA; sister, Verona Gray of Wagoner, OK; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Barnard was a WWII veteran and a member of Foothills Baptist Church. Funeral service Thursday 11:00 a.m. at Foothills Baptist Church, 480 E. Ina Rd., with Pastor Leonard Karlberg officiating.
Private interment Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile and one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Foothills Baptist Church.
