Barbara was the daughter of Edgar and Odessa (Rice)Bell. She was born and raised on the family farm southwest of Perkins, Oklahoma. Barbara married Billy Gene Mobley in 1952 and they raised 4 children. After Billy's death in 1972, In 1976 Barbara married Raymond Davis.
She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Perkins, teaching Sunday School and a youth group at Falls Creek.
