WEBB, Marvin Douglass ("Bud"), 54, of 803 Lee Highway, Pulaski, died Thursday, June 3, 1993, in the Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon. He was born in Pulaski County on November 11, 1938. Mr. Webb retired from the Sears Company in June 1990, after 26 years with the business in Pulaski. He was active in the Elks Club, and was a Paul Harris Fellow in the local Rotary Club, and was former president. Mr. Webb played a major part in providing and placing the Geological Exhibit in the Old Pulaski County Courthouse. He was involved in the Boy Scouts of America, public speaking, and the Soaring Society of New Castle. Mr. Webb was preceded in death by a brother, Jake Webb. Surviving are his wife, Linda Webb, Pulaski; two daughters, Joby Webb Boyd, Pulaski, Janet Webb Grubb, Sumpter, N.C.; his parents, Larson and Virginia Webb, Pulaski; one sister, Oreta Yelton, Pulaski; one brother, Richard Lee Webb, Galax; one grandson, Robert Douglass Boyd, Pulaski. A memorial service !
will be held Monday, 3 p.m. from the Fairlawn Grace Brethren Church (off of AT & T Plant Rd., Fairlawn). THe family will receive friends after the service, at the church, or at the residence at any time. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association. Arrangements are being handled by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
