Following a week's serious illness, Otto W. LOVE, 73, farmer residing five miles north of Akron, died at 9:45 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Hospital. He had been in failing health for several months.
He was born Dec. 7, 1879, in Miami county, to James and Mary ELLIOTT LOVE. He was married to Sarah MABY at Akron in 1903. She preceded him in death in 1912. Mr. Love was a member of Knights of Pythias lodge in Akron.
Survivors are a son, Russell LOVE, Mishawaka; a daughter, Miss Marie LOVE, Warsaw; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Moyer-Haupert funeral home, Akron. Rev. Claude FAWNS will officiate and burial will be in the Akron I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.
