Reba E. George, 79, of Coffeyville, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at her residence.

Reba was born March 19, 1931 at Seymour, Missouri to Carl L. George and Flora (McVay) George. She moved with her family to Coffeyville at an early age and received her education there. Reba moved to the Kansas City Metro area where she worked for KU Medical Center in the Medical Records Department. In 1994, she retired and moved back to Coffeyville. Reba had been a member of the Catholic Church while living in Kansas City and active in Relay For Life and other charities in Coffeyville.

She is survived by two brothers, Ron George and his wife, Gerry of Coffeyville and Kenneth George and his wife, Joanna of Marshfield, Missouri; four nieces and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and by an infant brother, Richard George.

Mrs. George will be cremated and no public services are scheduled, however, friends who wish may make donations to the Coffeyville Relay for Life in care of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.
