Mr. Kildow was quite vigorous and active for one of his age until about 4 months ago when he received a fall, the effects of which he never recovered, gradually sinking away until the end came quickly.
Mr. Kildow was raised in the Lutheran faith, but after coming to Illinois, he united with the United Brethern Church of which he was an honored member.
Mr. Kildow was married in 1822 to Miss Rachel Clatfelter, of this union ten children were born, 7 of whom survive to mourn his loss which will not only be felt by them but by the community at large.
