VIENNA (Special) -- Samuel Francis Crider died at his home near Vienna Wednesday. He was 54. Born Aug. 17, 1909, Mr. Crider was the son of Samuel and Missouri Null Crider. He was married May 9, 1930 to Miss Anna Sudheimer, who survives.
Also Surviving are three sons, Norman and Harold Crider of Vienna and Lee Crider, Brinktown:; seven daughters, Mrs. Georgia Hood, Brinktown, Mrs. Betta Ann Beutler, Yuba City, Calif., Mrs. Cathy Risse, Shortz, Tex., Mrs. Lucy Branson, Dixon, Mrs. Shirley Hoffman, West Pittsburgh, Calif., and Miss Lois and Miss Linda Crider, of the home:
Three brothers, Oscar and Logan Crider, both of Vienna, and Felix Crider, Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Owen Roark, Labadie, Mrs. Alvin Mayberry, Union and Mrs. Ona McKinney, Vienna; and 15 grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at a Vienna funeral home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Visitation Catholic Church, the Rev. Sennen O'Connell officiating, with burial in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Crider will lie in state at the Birmingham Funeral Home, Vienna, from Thursday, September 19, 10 a.m., until the hour of funeral services which will be conducted Saturday, September 21 at 9 a.m. from the Visitation Catholic Church in Vienna.
