Born April 10, 1937 in Limestone Twp., Union County, she was the daughter of the late Abraham D. and Maggie St.Clair.
Miriam was raised in the Washingtonville area and graduated from Danville High School. She was married to William E. Ulrich for 45 years until his death April 3, 2002.
She retired from JPM, Lewisburg and had worked at Philco/Ford-Zenith, Watsontown earlier.
She was a charter member of the Turbotville Lioness Club. Miriam loved to read and listen to music and while at Kramm's she sang in the choir, enjoyed playing Bingo and bowling. She was an avid Philadephia Phillies fan.
Surviving are two nieces: Linda (Joe) Brzostowski, Milton and Margaret Lou (Johnny) Shirk, in Oka.; a nephew, Gene (Elizabeth) Snyder in Fla.; two brothers-in-law: Robert (Kathleen) Ulrich, Milton; Roy "Sam"(Dorothy) Ulrich, Danville; five sisters-in-law: Peggy Brink, New Columbia; Marie (Harry) Tanner, Danville; Sarah (Gerald) Shambach, Watsontown; and Ruth (Ron) Tanner and Barbara (Larry) Kocher, all of Turbotville and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death beside her husband were three brothers, Hugh, Jesse, and Bruce St. Clair; and two sisters: Anna (Braid) Pannybaker and Margaret (Amos) Snyder.
Friends may call at Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville from 1:30 to 2:00 PM Tuesday where the funeral will begin at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Erwin C. Roux of Zion Lutheran Church, Turbotville, officiating. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Lutheran Cemetery.
