Mr. English, a former resident of Houston County, had resided in Seagoville for the last 20 years. Graveside funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, with Rev. Jack Nivens officiating. Interment was in the Ivie Cemetery. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Helen English of Seagoville; two sons, James C. English of Dallas and Ernest R. English of Seagoville; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Barron (should be Barton) of Dallas and Mrs. Jenny Forbes of Kaufman; his mother, Mrs. Jennie English of Kennard; three brothers, A. C. English of Grapeland, Truman English of Kennard and Hilton (should be Hilburn) English of Houston, a sister, Mrs. Winnie Ballard of Houston; and one grandchild,David Clayton English. Waller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
