When a Young Man was Resident of this county.
Some of the old citizens of this county will remember T.K. O'Neal and be sorry to learn of his death. He died at his home at Vinton, Iowa. When a boy he came with his parents to this county in 1842. He was a native of Indiana and born in 1835. Mr. O'Neal grew to manhood as a resident of this county and when about of age move to Iowa and has been a resident of that state ever since.
He died very suddenly in bed; his wife was awakened by his starting up suddenly in bed to a sitting position. He gasped two or three times, fell back on the pillow and all was soon over. Besides the wife to survive him are five sons. He also leaves three brothers--John O'Neal being a resident of this county---and four sisters
