JOHN L. PADGETT DIES IN FLORIDA
Services Sunday At Brown's Wonder
John Luther Padgett, for many years a resident of the Slabtown neighborhood in this county, passed away Thursday night at 7:30 o'clock at his home in Miami, Florida. The cause of his death was not given in the message received here but it is believed to have resulted from infirmities of old age.
The only near surviving relative is a daughter, Mrs. Zora Quillan, of Miami, who will accompany the body here for burial. He also leaves two nephews, John Duchemin and Claude Alexander, of Indianapolis.
The body will arrive here about noon Sunday and funeral services will be held at two o'clock at Brown's Wonder Church with burial in the cemetery at the church.
