As a producer on Broadway, she attained success comparable to that of her father and former husband, counting among her credits Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire," John Van Druten's "Bell, Book and Candle," Enid Bagnold's "The Chalk Garden," and Graham Greene's "The Complaisant Lover." She was also very close friends with Katharine Hepburn and author of "Remembering Kate," A. Scott Berg. Mr. Berg considered Mrs. Selznick a foremost historian of Hollywood and Broadway, as evidenced in her autobiography, "A Private View."
