Mrs. Genevieve M. (Guard) Fitzmaurice, 58, of 16 Huntington Ave died in Hahnemann Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Donald J. Fitzmaurice. Mrs. Fitzmaurice was a waitress at Nick's Colonial Restaurant for many years.
Besides her husband she left a son, Donald J Fitzmaurice Jr. of Danbury, Conn; two daughters, Constance J Reidy and Sharon Suominen (FAG memorial #65015928), both of Worcester; a brother, Peirce Guard of Lakeland, Fla (who later died in 1985); two sisters, Mrs Geraldine Boulete of Linwood and Mrs Mary Tamashunis of Marlboro, and seven grandchildren.
Genevieve was born in Leominster, daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Flemming) Guard. She lived in Worcester for thirty years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish.
