Seven Valleys Mrs. Elsie M. Berkheimer, 77, Seven Valleys RD2, widow of John M. Berkheimer, died Friday at 2:45 a.m. at Rest-Haven York Convalescent Home, where she had been a resident the past nine months.
Mrs. Berkheimer was born in North Codorus Township, daughter of the late Jesse H. and Elva Deveney Krout. Her husband died in 1976.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Stough, York RD 10; and Mrs. Stewart Shaffer, 134 Church Street, Glen Rock.
The Rev. M. L. Kroh, a retired Lutheran minister, will officiate at funeral services Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove.
Burial will be in St. Jacobs Union cemetery, York New Salem.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the York Adams Heart Association.
