Mrs. Amelia Goff Died On Saturday; Funeral Tuesday

Mrs. Amelia Goff, 87, a life long resident of the Morrison vicinity, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Smith, at 6:20 o'clock Saturday evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Carney funeral home, with Dr. W.R. Wilson of the Methodist church officiating. Burial will be made in the Cottonwood cemetery.

The deceased was born in Ustick township near Spring Valley on May 21, 1856, the daughter of John and Nancy Plank Canfield, and on November 16, 1875, was married to Austin Goff who died in 1924. She had made her home with her daughter since August, 1943.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Arthur Smith and Mrs. John Davis of Morrison and Mrs. Arthur Coonley of Waupun, Wis.; 14 grandchildren, nine great grand children and one great great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. John Knight of Fulton and Mrs. Nettie Dodge of Beloit, Wis.
