Bernice VanHorn, 84, of St. Louis, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 1985, at Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at the Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home in Alma with the Rev. E.L. Downey of the Alma Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Alma.
Ms. VanHorn was born June 29, 1901, in Wexford County to Lewis and Jennie (Jones) VanHorn. She was a Gratiot County resident for two years, moving there from Battle Creek.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Roy (Anna) Perry of Alma; and five brothers, Chris, Francis and Carl, all of Alma, Eugene of Vestaburg, and Russell of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by two children and three brothers.
