U.S. Army veteran of World War I. Private, Company C, 2nd Battalion Engineers and 9th Engineer Training. Enlisted May 23, 1917 and died in the Influenza Pandemic of 1918-1919 while stationed at Camp Courchesne, El Paso, Texas.
