Marguerite Dixson Hill, 89, a resident of Easton, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Facility in Argyle.
Born Oct. 2, 1920, in Cambridge, she was the daughter of Louis A. and Margaret (Mast) Dixson.
She married Kenneth L. Hill September 14, 1941.
Marguerite was a graduate of Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing and had worked as a registered nurse at the Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge for many years. She had also been an office nurse for Dr. Atwood and Dr. Young in Greenwich.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth L. Hill Sr., who died February 29, 2008.
Survivors include her children, Linda Thomas and her husband, Richard, of Stafford, Va., Louise Foxwell and her husband, Peter, of Skowhegan, Maine, Kenneth Hill Jr. and companion, Susan Nolan, of Easton, and Darrell Hill and his wife, Jennie, of Easton; a sister, Mary Lou (Dixson) Abbott of Sudbury, Mass.; 11 grandchildren: Lauren Bass, Sharon Thomas, Steven Thomas, Robert Hill, Stacy Wallace, Stephanie Mattison, James Hill, Patricia Hill, Alexis Galagan, Dylan Galagan, and Gareth Hill; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: Nov. 9, 2009, at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich, N.Y., with the Rev. Mike Neigh, officiating.
Interment: Greenwich Cemetery.
