William Jennings Sutton of 04709 Sea Breeze Lane, Florence, died May 25, 1985, at the age of 87.
He was born July 4, 1897, in Missouri. He was employed as a laborer with the railroad for many years and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by his two daughters, Juanita Riley of Florence and Martha Holman of Springfield; his two sons, Clarence Sutton of Reedsport and James Sutton of Florence; two sisters, Elsie Reno and Clara Harris, both of Lewiston, Idaho; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 29, at Pacific Sunset Memorial Park. Al Stapleton with the Florence DAV officiated. Arrangements were entrusted to Murphy Musgrove Riverside Chapel.
