PIONEER RESIDENT


Services for Ed Croslin Oliver

Conducted at Methodist

Church Wednesday


Funeral services sere conducted Wednesday afternoon for Edd Croslin Oliver at the First Methodist church with Rev, R. B. Moreland, officiating.


Mr. Oliver died January 8 at Elk City following an illness of several weeks. He was born in Bowling Green Kentucky January 12, 1876 and moved to Texas when he was small. He moved to Oklahoma in 1908 and settled in Beckham county.


He Is survived by his wife, one son Charles of Sayre; two daughters Miss Mattie of Elk City and Mrs. L. F. Holly of Sayre; two grandchildren, Charles Robert Oliver and Verna Fay Holly; two brothers, Henry of Blanchard and Charles of Mineral Wells, Texas and three sisters, Mrs. Allie Lewellen of Elk City. Mrs. Mary Smith of Wewoka and Mrs. Dollie Jones of Sayre.


Interment was made in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery with Littrell-Moore in charge.
