Deceased Name: SIBYL BEAN
Born May 31, 1906 in Salem, Iowa. Moved to Bushnell Illinois, at about age 5. Daughter of W.A. Pool and Addye Weeks Pool. She was a pioneer resident who came to Florida in 1920 with her father and twin brother Robert. She was a member of the first graduating class which went all the way through Lake Worth High School. She assisted with her father and brother in operating W.A. Pool & Son Jewelers in Lake Worth. She married Harold Earle Bean on June 21, 1934 and with him operated Bean's Photo and Jewelry in Lake Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her youngest son, Russell Bean.
She is survived by a daughter Dorothy (Mrs. S.E.) Churchwell of Merritt Island, Florida. She is also survived by three sons, Richard (Virginia) Bean of West Palm Beach, Robert (Geraldine) Bean of Lake Worth, and Ronald Bean of Lake Worth, daughter-in-law Joyce (widow of Russell). She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at BABIONE-STEPHENSON FUNERAL HOME, 1004 S. Dixie Hwy., Lantana on Sunday from 2-4PM. Funeral services will be held at The First Baptist Church of Lake Worth, 127 South M Street, Lake Worth on Monday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
