LEWIS L MATHENA
Funeral services for Mr. Mathena 67 yrs old, a resident of Princeton for 35 years, who died at his home Wednesday following a brief illness, were conducted at the residence Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial was to follow at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon in Sunset Memorial Park in South Charleston. Mr Mathena had been the proprietor of a shoe shop in Princeton for 20 years.
Mr Mathena was married to Miss Rebekah Easter Carper of Princeton, Jan 31, 1895. He is survived by the widow; five sons, Howard Mathena, Akron Ohio, Norton P mathena, Charleston, Morris L and Chester mathena, Princeton: six daughters Mrs. O.L. Hambrick, Charleston, Mrs G.H. Walker, Mrs Delena Martin and Mrs Johnnie Csonka, Akron, Mrs Eddie Grim and Mrs Joe Beckner, Princeton: four brothers, C.A., Ed B and George B Mathena, Princeton; two sisters, Mrs Maggie Bowling, Bluefield, and Miss Nettie Mathena, Salt Lake City, Utah; and 23 grandchildren.
