From The Elkhart Truth - "MRS. CALVIN ROGERS, Millersburg, Mrs. Carrie Lucille Rogers, 54, wife of Calvin ROGERS, of east of Goshen, died at 9 p.m. Saturday at their home, following a bedfast illness of five months.
Mrs. Rogers was born near Millersburg March 19, 1899, and married Mr. Rogers in 1918. She was a member of the Millersburg Reformed church.
Surviving, in addition to the husband, are one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Avis) Aust, of Goshen, two grandchildren and a brother, Dee Stiver, of Syracuse.
Friends are being received at the Rogers home until noon Tuesday when the body will be taken to the Millersburg Reformed church to lie in state from 1 until 2
p.m. Services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Gilliom in charge.
Burial will be in Brown cemetery, south of Millersburg. The Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, is in charge of arrangements."
