Obituary:
After a few weeks confinement due to a stroke of paralysis Uncle Johnnie Quinn passed away Monday, Oct. 9, at his home in Antelope precinct, at the age of 82 years.
Deceased was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and lived in Omaha from 1865 to 70, coming from there to Jefferson county were he took up a homestead.
Had he lived until December, he and his wife, who survives him, would have been married 53 years. Altho this aged couple had no children, they had many friends and have given a home to the friendless many a time. Jas, Rueben and William Quinn of this county are nephews.
The funeral was held Wednesday at the Silver Creek church, services being conducted by Rev. Holmes of Fairbury. The remains were interred in the Silver Creek cemetery.
