MRS. BERT BADGEROW

Mrs. Bert Badgerow, 83, Lead Hill, ARK., a former Le Mars resident, died Wednesday in a Harrison, ARK. hospital after a long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, in the Mauer Funeral Home at Le Mars. Rev. James Ranson will officiate. Burial will be in Kingsley Cemetery.

There will be an Order of Eastern Star service at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Badgerow, the former LILLIAN BRUCE, was born July 10, 1894 at Alta to Andrew and Margaret McQuistan Bruce. She married March 4, 1929 at LeMars. Her husband died many years ago.

She was a homemaker and lived on a farm in Union township near Kingsley for 50 years, moving to Arkansas in 1972.

Mrs. Badgerow was a member of the Le Mars Presbyterian church and the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Thornley Arnold of Lead City ( Lead Hill ), Ark.; a son, Robert of Harrison, Ark.; a brother, Edward of Correctionville; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Verl Lehner, Dale Lehner, Delmar Lehner, Andrew Morgan, Glen Morgan and Duane Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, and a grandchild.
