Services for Sharon Ivy were held at 2:00 P.M. September 27, 2010 in Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home chapel in Goldthwaite, Texas.

Sharon was very active in genealogy research & posted under the nickname "IvyPlace". Sharon was Find-A-Graver #46823798 & had been entering memorials for others for over 4 years.
Her contributions in person & online were many. Her BIO on FAG states: "I live in Mills county TX & am a lookup volunteer for the county. I am also the county coordinator for the Mills county & San Saba county TXGenWeb project.
I have gone to most of the cemeteries in the county & taken photo's of headstones, especially the broken ones, the metal markers & sometimes just a stone marking a grave. I started using gps coordinates to identify locations for when the stones are totally broken, the funeral markers are unreadable etc.

I was shocked to see that someone posted my pictures as their own, & added here on FindaGrave. I have complained to the poster but since they have taken so many, including a few gate photos of cemeteries etc. but she was too busy to look & add citations to the photos she took so I sometimes double post a photo with the original photo to show how they cropped it to make it look like I did not take it & I created a private virtual cemetery for them as I find them.

I do feel FindaGrave is an excellant page to help others locate graves & photos over long distance. I just hate that some of the posters do not read the guidelines & follow them." To visit her contributor page ~ click link > Sharon's (IvyPlace)
