William Best died at his home on the Stephens farm North of Trimble Monday, following a short illness.
He was born in Ohio July 27,1839, being aged 72 years, 11 months, and 24 days. He was married to Amanda Bonesteel on December 24, 1865. To them were born four children, three of whom with the mother are living, being George, Rosa, and Andy.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon by Rev. M. V. Hathaway, and interment was made in the Ball Cemetery West of Hutsonville.
