The Statesville Landmark reported:"Hal Rockwell, aged 14 months, died 31 Mar 1904 at the home of his parents, Mr and Mrs C. R. Templeton of Mt Mourne, Iredell Co. Burial at Centre.
This is where the discrepancy comes in. The newspaper stated he dies at the home of his parents..It would have to have been his father and step mother (my great grandmother, Glennie), as Hal's mother Bessie May Bell was already deceased.
