James B. Ausbrooks, 89, of Franklin, IN and formerly of Scottsville, died Saturday, September 6, 2014. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of Brooks Plate Glass, member of the Local Union Roofers and World War II Army veteran. He was a son of the late Ed Ausbrooks and Lettie Alderson Ausbrooks and husband of the late Betty Mitchell Ausbrooks.



He is survived by 4 daughters: Brenda Cantu; Wanda LaGrant and husband, James; Glenda Cooper and husband, Roger and Ileena Knight and husband, Doug;

5 grandchildren: Ryan N. Cooper and wife, Candice; Bryan J. LaGrant and wife, Lisa; Captain Joshua L. LaGrant, Tyler E. Knight and Travis G. Knight;

6 great grandchildren: Rodger Blaine, Bryson, Benjamin, Baylin, Lucas and Elliana.



Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Ausbrooks officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20. Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Thursday and after 7 am Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
