Note: The obit for Charles Erastus Bigelow, Erastus son, who died 1900, says that he came with his three brothers and a sister to Sangerfield, c. 1830 along with his parents Statira and Erastus Bigelow when Charles was seven years old. There has been no mention of a sister up until I read this obit. This was a mistake since Statira had died before 1826. So, he is referring to Maria Burgess I believe.

Her name was Mary. She is mentioned twice in Horace Ransom Bigelow's diary.
