Allen, 72, passed away on Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, during a traditional Thanksgiving gathering with her family on the island of Maui. Carmen was born in Hurricane, UT on Dec. 30, 1932 to Dr. Albert J. and Nora Wright Hutchings.
Carmen is survived by her husband, Delbert Allen of Mesquite, NV; her children (Worsencroft): Kim, Chris, Cory and Gordon; Dell's children (Allen): Crystal and Mike; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her brother, Keith Averett. Carmen resided in Mesquite, NV, but spent most of her life in Salt Lake valley, including 30 years working at LDS Hospital. A wake will be held to honor Carmen on Friday, Dec. 23, 2005 at the Market Street Grill Cottonwood, 2985 E.
