Benjamin is the son of William "Bill" and Telitha WILLIAMS Caviness Morrison Davidson. After, William's death, Telitha had two additional marriages. Second, Telitha married Alexander "Alex" Morrison on April 24, 1879 at Tucson, Pima Co., Arizona Territory. Third, Telitha married James R. Davidson on Dec. 29, 1893.

Benjamin married Rena WILSON on July 6, 1899 at Naco, Cochise Co., Arizona Territory. The marriage ended in divorce. Second, Benjamim married Lula Smith on December 28, 1903 at Naco, Cochise Co., Arizona Territory. Lula preceded Benjamin in death.
