Noah Lee Nellums

1927 - 2013

Noah Lee Nellums, 86, born April 13, 1927, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2013. He served in the United States Navy and then retired from Champion International Paper Company after 40 years of service. Noah was a member of the Moose Lodge 557 and The Elks Club.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; parents, Greenberry and Agnes Nellums; brothers and sisters.

He is survived by daughter, Lisa Nellums Nagem; grandchildren, Brandon and Halee Nagem; sons, Noah Lee Chastain (Brenda), Jerry Chastain (Cathy) and Wayne Chastain; stepson, Michael Ward (Cyndie); seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and his best friend, Nita McNair.

The family will receive friends for visitation at 1:00 p.m. at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Wednesday, August 21, 2013 until services begin at 2:00 p.m.

Entombment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
