Survivors include several nieces and nephews: Carl Edwards, Patsy Coller, Orell T. Edwards, Jr., Sharon K. Simpson, Debora Clark-Holt, Gary Wilson, Joyce E. Walton, and Edmond Wilson.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Mathis is preceded in death by her husband Edward Mathis, sisters Frances Wilson and Mary Lois Hall, and brothers Edmond Edwards and Orell T. Edwards, and nephew Terry Edwards.
Mrs. Mathis was buried in Dickson's Union Cemetery on Tuesday, January 18th.
