Carl attended school in Grand Prairie, Texas
He was killed in an accident at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, where he was working after graduation from High School. He had just graduated from Grand Prairie High School, where he was very popular and loved for his positive outlook on life and great sense of humor. Carl participated in Baseball 1959-1960, was the Basketball Manager 1959-1960; Student Council Rep. 1959-1960; Vice-President of the Student Council in 1961-62.
He was survived by his parents, Bascom Barnwell Jones and Esther Goldene (Williamson) Jones; two brothers, Tommy and Bobby Jones; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Williamson, all of Grand Prairie, Texas.
