marriage 10/15/1884 in
Boone County Missouri.
Felix had a twin sister, Lucy J. LaForce who was buried in this same cemetery (#42329119). Both were born in May of 1862. Felix and Lucy were the son and daughter of Walter Preston Laforce (#42328967) and Frances A. (Castleman) Laforce (#42329071) also buried in this cemetery.
I finally realized this while reviewing probate records for Boone County, MO. Their mother, Frances (Castleman) Laforce d. 1862 (not certain of the date, but probably not long after Lucy and Felix were born). A probate guardianship was opened and there were three separate listings all under the same Estate #2278 (p. 23), one for Polly E., one for Lucy and one for Felix. Frances’ brother Thomas B. Castleman was named guardian. In the same year, their father Walter Preston married a third time: Sarah “Sallie” C. Grady with whom he had five more children.
