John Patrick Delaney, 75, died this morning at a St. Joseph hospital. His wife, Blanche L. Delaney, died three months ago. Mr. Delaney was a retired farmer. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan county and had resided in the St. Joseph vicinity for the past 12 years. He made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Atha on R.R.#4. Mr. Delaney was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
In addition to his daughter, Mr. Delaney is survived by two sons, Bernard and Thomas, both of St. Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Winnie Stock, and Miss Loretta Delaney, both of St. Joseph, and 12 grandchildren

Services for John Patrick Delaney will be held Saturday morning at 9 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Mr. Delaney's nephew, the Rev. Augustine Stock, will officiate and burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. The parish rosary will be recited Friday night at 8 in the Heaton-Bowman chapel. Mr. Delaney, a retired farmer, died yesterday at the age of 75.
