She was born February 24, 1930 in Nowata, Oklahoma, daughter of Lewis Albert and Margaret E. (Barnes) Albert. Doris worked as a cafeteria cook for the Denton, Texas public school system.
Doris loved to fish and rummage through garage sales, she was actually known for planning her entire day around the local garage sale schedule.
Doris also enjoyed canning various vegetables and such that were a product of her late husband Charlie's beautiful gardens.
Doris was preceded in death by: her husband, Charlie Belz in 2007; 2 brothers: Jack and Wes Albert and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Lenea McMillan of Forestburg, TX; brother, Ray Albert and his wife Faye of Nowata; sister-in-law, Jo Albert of Nowata and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A graveside service was held 10:00 am, Monday, January 31, 2011 at the McMains Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service
