Quinton Kirk Lowe , 73, died March 28, 1996.
"God knew you were suffering, that the hills were hard to climb, so He gently closed your eyelids and whispered 'peace be thine'. In tears we watched you sinking, we watched you fade away, our hearts were nearly broken, you fought so hard to stay. It broke our hearts to see you go - but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home".
Dad was born July 3, 1922 in Centerfield, Utah, to Flossie Gineva and Clifford Joseph Lowe . He married Marion Barnes; they were later divorced. On May 29, 1953, he married Mildred Watson; that marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mom preceded him in death in 1979.
He leaves behind his daughters, Betty Jessop (Will), Louise Kay (LaMar), Karen Jessop, Christine Cobb (Rick), and Debbie Finney (Lowell); his sons, Kirk Lowe (Pam), Maurice Lowe (Pat) and Allan Lowe ; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Faith Phillips; brother, Shelby Lowe . Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Don Lowe , Jess Lowe and sister, Pearl Huntsman.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 1, 1996 at 1 p.m. at the Lake Hills Mortuary Chapel, 10055 So. State. Friends may call Sunday 6-7 p.m. at the Colonial Mortuary, 2128 So. State and one hour prior to services at Lake Hills Mortuary. Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park. Funeral Directors, Colonial Mortuary.
