Anita M. Flaugh, 66 of Huntington, passed away Wednesday February 17, 2010 at 3:00 am at Oakbrook, Huntington.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Huntington College and her Masters degree in Adult Education from Ball State University. She worked with the CETA program and at Chrysler in Kokomo as director of adult education.
Anita was born February 23, 1943 in Whitley County, the daughter of Ralph and Ruth (Stanley) Geist. On January 1, 1960 she married her beloved husband of 50 years Lloyd A. Flaugh in Huntington and he survives.
Also surviving are 2 sons Mark E. Flaugh of Warsaw and Douglas W. Flaugh of California, a granddaughter Betty Mae Flaugh of Mishawaka, 2 sisters, 1 brother and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son Rick A. Flaugh and a brother.
Visitation will be held Saturday February 27 from 1- 2 pm preceding the 2:00 pm service at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel.
Burial will follow in Andrews Riverside Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the American Red Cross c/o Deal-Rice Funeral Home, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington, IN 46750.
