Fannie grew up on the well-known plantation of her father, "Speedwell," which is near present-day Starkey, VA.

She is a descendant of the famous Virginia families of Harvey, Burwell, Armistead, Borden & Digges.

I'm not sure she is buried here with Thomas. She died the year after him.
