The Adair family moved to Asquith from Nokomis,Sask. in April, 1930. Mr . Adair came originally from Ottawa, Ont. while a young man, to homestead at Nokomis in 1910 . Mrs . Adair came from Nova Scotia with her parents and family also to take up a homestead. Mr . and Mrs . Adair were married in 1915 .
Mr. Adair was transferred as manager of North American Lumber Co . to Asquith.
Mr. and Mrs. Adair lived in Asquith until 1969 when they moved to a home in Saskatoon. They have resided at Sunnyside Nursing Home since 1973. Mr. Adair died in 1975
