SPARTA -- Funeral services for Jammie Luna, 53, of Sparta, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat., June 12, from the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. today, Fri., June 11, at the funeral home.
Ms. Luna died on Thurs., June 10, 1999, at White County Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 31, 1945 to Elsie Staggs Luna of Sparta and the late Samuel Silas Luna. Ms. Luna was an office manager with Courier Printing.
In addition to her mother, her family also includes two daughters, Yvette Crouch McCormick and Lonette Crouch Marcus, both of Sparta; two sons-in-law, Robert McCormick and DeWayne Marcus, both of Sparta; three sisters, Earlene McCormick of Cookeville, Rena Dinky Adcock of Smithville and Ovean Phifer of Sparta; a brother, Danny Luna of Lebanon; and two grandchildren, Anthony and Alex Marcus.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a sister.
Bro. Mike Thomas will officiate at the services.
