While on a business trip to Mississippi W. K. Frazier of Van Buren, well known in the southern part of Hunting county, visited the National Cemetery at Vicksburg. He found a grave that bore the name of Thaddens Camblin, who died in the War and whose resting place had been unknown to his daughter, Mrs. Ed Gillespie, south of Warren more than 40 years. The grave of John Camblin was also found-Huntington Herald'

He died on a hospital boat near Youngspoint, Louisiana, 20 April 1863.
