Thomas Moynihan
Services for Thomas "Long Tom" Moynihan,
82, of 5841 S. Salina St., who died
Friday at Veteran's Administration Hospital,
will be 8:30 a.m. today at John G.
Pullnr funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St.
James Catholic Church. Burial will be in
Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
Moynihan had retired as a printer from
the Syracuse Herald-Journal, after 45
years of service. He was an Army veteran
of World War I.
He was a communicant of St. James
Catholic Church and was a member of Local
55 of the Internationa] Typographical
Union for more than 50 years and was a
former secretary of the local.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bird
Thompson Moynihan; three daughters,
Mrs. Ellen Gratzcr, Miss Sharon Moynihun
of East Syracuse and Mrs. Florence
Peters of Weedsport; four sons, Al,
Charles, and Paul, all of Syracuse, and
Earl oi Cottage Grove, Minn.; and 17
grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the Juvenile
Diabetes Foundation or the Cerebral
Palsy Association.
