Doyle was a loving husband, father, and friend.
He served on the Air Force in the Korean War. He earned his Master's at H a r d i n g .
Doyle taught math and business in Missouri and Arkansas, was superintendant in Plumerville, Ark., and was administrator of the school food service for the state of Arkansas, from where he retired. He went on to serve as a lobbyist for the school boards' association in the 1997 legislative session. He was a member of the American Legion, and a Rotarian. Doyle was also a member of the Downtown Church of Christ in Morrilton. There is more good to be said for Doyle Border than can be written here. To all who know and love him, he will be missed.
