LeRoy Saunders - Passes Saturday

HAZELTON, July 11 LeRoy Frederick Saunders, 69, Hazelton farmer, died at St. Benedict's hospital In Jerome Saturday morning. He was born Jan. 19, 1884, in Walla Walla.

Mr. Saunders moved from Walla Walla to Hazelton in 1921 and farmed. He was a member of the Hazelton Presbyterian church and IOOF lodge.

He was preceded In death by his wife in 1928 and three brothers. Mr. Saunders Is survived by two sons, Clarence Saunders and Lester Saunders, both Hazelton; one brother, Leland Saunders, Oakland, Calif., three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Roepker and Mrs. Myrtle Ward, both Walla Walla; and Mrs. Crystal Clemens, Seattle, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the White mortuary chapel. Interment will be made in Walla Walla.
