Miss Edwina Lamar Davis, 67, of Albany, Ga., died Thursday at her winter home, 336 Monroe Drive, following and extended illness.
She had been coming to West Palm Beach and Miami since 1934 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Albany.
Surviving are two sister-in-laws Mrs Annie Smith Davis also of Albany and Mrs Maria Carter Davis, Atlanta, who were staying with her.
The sister-in-laws will accompany the body, which is being taken this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock for services and burial in the family plot on Saturday.

Beloved Albany Woman Dies in West Palm Beach
Miss Edwina Davis, prominent and beloved citizen of Albany, died last night at 7:30 in West Palm Beach after a illness of several weeks.
Miss Davis was a life time resident of Albany, was prominent in the work of the First Baptist Church, and her sweet and charming nature endeared her to all. News of her death brought sorry to many friends.
She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the Chautauqua Literary Study Course. Miss Davis was a member of the city's most prominent families.
She was the daughter of the late Ella Catherine Winkler , of Savannah and the later Dr William Lewis Davis, of Washington, Wilkes County. Dr Davis served as a surgeon in the War between the States. She was the niece of Dr Edwin Winkler, former pastor of the First Baptist Church here.
Surviving are two sisters-in-laws, Mrs W L Davis of Albany and Mrs E C Davis of Atlanta, who were at her side at the time of her death. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, including Mr J B Lanier, Mrs Sam Marshall and Bill Davis, all of Albany; Dr Shelly C Davis, Dr Robert Carter Davis, Lieut E C Davis, Mrs Earl McMillan, Mrs Bradford MacFadden, and Miss Theodore Davis, all of Atlanta; Mr Frederick Marks, Rome, NY and Mrs Storm Trosdal, of Savannah.
Grand-nieces and nephews surviving are Mr Worth Yankey of Atlanta and Charlie, Alline and Anne Marshall of Albany and Donald and Bradwell Lanier of Albany.
The funeral service will be held tommorow morning at 10 o'clock in the First Baptist Church, with the Rev W Raleigh White, pastor, in charge, assisted by Rev L G Henderson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Oakview Cemetery.
The following pall bearers are requested to meet tomorrow morning at 9:30 o'clock in the chapel of the Ivey Funeral Home:
Honorary: T S Mathews, A P Vason, R H Warren, Sr, L G Coley, Dr A H Hilsman, Dr W S Cook, E R West, J W Parker and Dr J D Cutliff.
