-- FORT MILL - Mr. Larry Taylor Bailes, 75, of 103 Morgan Street died Saturday, June 13, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Flint Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dan Griffin officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

A Fort Mill native, Mr. Bailes was retired from Springs Mill in Fort Mill. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was known for his musical ability, especially playing string instruments, and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving are his son, Daryl Bailes of Katy, Texas; two brothers, Leon Bailes of Fort Mill and Horace Bailes of Greensboro, N.C.; his sister, Ann Robinson of Belmont, N.C.; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Greene Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. today and at other times at the home of Katherine Bailes, 2304 Eden Terrace, Rock Hill.
